What counts as storage
Capacity is sampled hourly and averaged over the billing period, so a short spike does not move you to the next tier. Object versions and uncommitted multipart parts count toward the total; parts from sessions that time out do not.
What is not billed
- Egress to the public internet, including cache misses.
- API requests of any kind, including list and head.
- Cache invalidations and signed URL generation.
- Replication between the three nodes inside a region.
Billing
Invoices are issued monthly in euro and settle by card or SEPA transfer. Changing plans takes effect immediately and the difference is prorated to the day. Cancelling stops renewal at the end of the current period; data stays readable for 14 days after that, then it is removed.
Fair use
Unmetered bandwidth is genuinely unmetered for normal application traffic. We only step in if a single bucket sustains more than 50 TB in a month, and then we get in touch before doing anything.
